Welcome back! We are excited to present our Learn to Skate dates for the upcoming season.
The Learn to Skate program operated by our club is designed to run in conjunction with the United States Figure Skating Association established program.
The Club offers an eight (8) week session of skating. The program is for ages 4 through adult and is presented at the Joseph J. Zapustas Arena in Randolph. The program teaches several levels, students are tested and badges given to those who master the level requirements, testing is done at the discretion of our staff professionals.
Required equipment: helmet, properly fitted and sharpened skates (no double runners allowed), mittens or gloves, and warm outer clothing such as a jogging suit, winter coat, and hat.
Each class is one hour long and divided into two half-hour segments. The first half hour is devoted to group lessons. The second half hour is a free skate.
The 2009–2010 session schedules:
- Wednesday sessions are from 5:30-6:30 pm.
- First Session begins September 9, 2009:
- 9/9, 9/16, 9/23, 9/30, 10/7, 10/14, 10/21, 10/28, 11/4
- Seond Session begins November 18, 2009:
- 11/18, 12/2, 12/9, 12/16, 1/6, 1/13, 1/27, 2/3
- Third Session begins February 10, 2010:
- 2/10, 2/24, 3/3, 3/10, 3/17, 3/24, 3/31, 4/7
- 9/9, 9/16, 9/23, 9/30, 10/7, 10/14, 10/21, 10/28, 11/4
- Saturday sessions are from 10:00-11:00 am.
- First Session begins September 12, 2009:
- 9/12, 9/26, 10/3, 10/10, 10/17, 10/24, 10/31, 11/7, 11/14
- Seond Session November 21, 2009:
- 11/21, 12/5, 12/12, 12/19, 1/9, 1/16, 1/30, 2/6
- Third Session February 13, 2010:
- 2/13, 2/27, 3/6, 3/13, 3/20, 3/27, 4/3, 4/10

There will be a one-time $10.00 fee at time of initial registration for the skating season that goes toward US Figure Skating Association Basic Skills membership fee. The cost for the 9 - week Fall Session will be $120.00. The cost for each 8 - week Winter or Spring Session will be $110.00. Registration for both classes will begin ½ hour before the start time. Skaters joining mid-session are welcome to join at a pro-rated rate.
